Apparatus for determination of white point temperature and minimum film forming temperature - Coesfeld Material Test Gradient Plate Thermostair Model MFT.20F, allowing for controls of film formation from aqueous dispersions of polymers and copolymers according to PN-90/C-89415 standard.

Rotation viscometer Brookfield Model HB DV II CP, allowing for determination of apparent viscosity of polymers in a state of melt, dispersion or solution according to PN-ISO 2555:1999.

Chamber for uv-curing UVALOC 1000 type G 2001 from Loctite. Application - for determination of uv-curing ability of coatings and adhesives or other resins (according to the in-house procedure), modification of the plastics surface using uv irradiation, studies on new kind of uv-curable binders for coatings.

Accelerated ageing chamber containing uv fluorescence lamps and moisture condensation unit UV2000 (ATLAS), allowing for cyclic uv irradiation and moisture condensation (without simultaneous irradiation) treatments of various materials. It is primarily used for selecting tests applied for elimination of coatings which do not meet weatherability requirements.

Climatic chambers: Feutron chamber (type 3423/15), Mytron chamber (model KPK 60), Sanyo chamber (model CF 4). Application - ageing tests in summer and winter conditions (constant temperature and humidity inside the chambers) or in changing conditions following the cycles, conditioning of samples at constant temperature and humidity according to the product standard (before testing the sample according to the standardized method), investigations of moisture-curable polymers.

Apparatus for determination of percentage of open and closed pores in the rigid foams. The test comprises determination of the geometric sample volume followed by determination of the sample volume that is not transparent for air. The method is consistent with PN-ISO 4590:1994, item 4.
