Investigations and testing of polymer materials
Components of polymer materials, such as high molecular weight (MW) materials, low MW substances, additives and contaminants, are qualitatively and quantitatively determined, as well as physicochemical, mechanical, thermal and rheological properties of polymer materials are characterized and tested. In particular, the following methods are applied: gas chromatography (GC) with various detectors, including GC coupled with mass spectrometry (GC/MS), UV/VIS, FTIR and PyGC/FTIR spectrometry, IR/Raman spectrometry, photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS), atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), thermal analysis, such as thermogravimetry (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), flammability testing, tensiometric techniques, as well as other testing methods agreed with customers.
